The Sharp Family

Welcome to Pet Wants Colorado Springs! We’re the Sharp family and we’re excited to meet you and to talk to you about the importance of pet nutrition and about what we do at Pet Wants so you can make the best decision for you, your family, and your pets.

Pet Wants’ specially-crafted pet food formulas are made in small batches with fresh, natural ingredients enhanced with vitamins and minerals for a complete and balanced diet in every bowl. Pet Wants Colorado Springs offers multiple blends of dog and cat food formulas as well as healing salve, calming balm, anti-itch spray, paw wax, and more. Pet Wants Colorado Springs is a mobile business and we offer free, personal delivery to Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, Falcon, Monument, Black Forest, Fountain, and the surrounding areas.

Pet Wants has a 100-percent, money-back guarantee on the freshness and quality of our food and we only source the best salmon, chicken, lamb, brown rice, and other ingredients available. There’s no sugar added, no fillers, and no animal by-products and Pet Wants never uses corn, wheat, soy, or dyes, which makes the food great for animals with allergies. We also offer multiple blends of dog and cat food formulas as well as a healing salve, calming balm, anti-itch spray, paw wax, and more.

The day-to-day operations of the business are run by mother and son team Judith and Dustin. Phillip (Judith’s husband) and Larry (Phillip’s brother) are hoping to join the team as the business grows.

We care deeply about animals and we want the very best for our own pets. When we learned about Pet Wants, we realized offering high-quality pet nutrition to our community was a perfect fit. People love their pets but they don’t always stop to think about what they are feeding their animals. We were in those shoes once too.

Our last dog, Evie, was the most amazing dog anyone could ask for. She looked like a Manchester Terrier – heavier than a greyhound, but with the face of a Miniature Pinscher – and, when she was 13, she was diagnosed with bone cancer. They amputated her leg and she only lived another six months. We know she had 13 great years, but for a dog her size, she should have had a few more years in her. We believe her nutrition played a part in her cancer and now we are feeding our Collie/Aussie mix Anya and cats Toonces and Khesi Pet Wants food.

Having a pet with cancer or other health issues is hard and, we’re hoping better nutrition can lead to better, healthier, longer lives.  We’re looking forward to hearing from you, sharing our passion for pets, and meeting your furry family members!
